Andy Charles Guitars specialises in the repair, maintenance and modifications of guitars both acoustic and electric. Other fretted instruments will be considered for work. Amplifiers, pedals and other electrical equipment is not catered for however I will be happy to point you in the direction of a relevant repair man.

Each appointment should be booked in via the booking application found

All instruments left for repair are to be left with a suitable Bag or hard case.

All repairs will be estimated before any work is completed. Estimates are approximations of the cost of repair and can be subject to change. Parts, strings and or materials will be charged at extra cost where applicable.

If any parts are for custom order these will need to be paid for in full and are non-refundable. Once these parts are in stock, I will complete the work.

I do not provide estimates over the phone unless the desired quote is for one of the standard service charges. These quotes however are subject to change after and assessment of the instrument first hand.

For all work estimated above £200 a 25% deposit is required. I will estimate a turnaround time and try to keep to these time frame where possible and subject to availability of parts and materials.

All instruments left for repair at Andy Charles Guitars are to be collected within a timely fashion after work and repairs are completed. Instruments left for longer than 30 days after contact has been made for collection will be considered abandoned and the property of Andy Charles Guitars. The guitar may then be sold to cover costs if necessary.

All work including setup adjustments are covered by a 60 day warranty.

Andy Charles Guitars is fully insured and will always take the upmost of care with your instrument.

Andy Charles Guitars Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter This giveaway (“Giveaway”) is organised and operated by Andy Charles Guitars (“Promoter”).

2. Eligibility Open to legal residents of the United Kingdom, European Union, and United States. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, agents, and affiliates of the Promoter, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.

3. Entry Requirements To enter, participants must: Like and follow the official Andy Charles Guitars Instagram account. Repost the giveaway post to their own Instagram feed or story. Tag two (2) friends in the comments of the original giveaway post. Each eligible participant who completes all steps will receive one (1) entry. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase chances of winning.

4. Giveaway Period Entries must be submitted during the dates specified in the giveaway post. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

5. Prize The winner will receive: One (1) Stew Mac Screwdriver Kit, and One (1) StewMac Cleaning and Care Kit. Approximate retail value: [insert total value, e.g. £80 / $100].No cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

6. Winner Selection and Notification One (1) winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries after the Giveaway period ends. The winner will be contacted via direct message on Instagram from the official Andy Charles Guitars account within 7 days of the giveaway closing. The winner must respond within 72 hours to claim the prize. If no response is received, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner.

7. Shipping The prize will be shipped free of charge to the winner’s address in the UK, EU, or USA. The Promoter is not responsible for delays, customs fees, or lost packages once the item has been dispatched.

8. General Conditions By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, or StewMac. Entrants release Instagram and StewMac from any responsibility or liability related to this Giveaway. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Giveaway if circumstances arise outside its control.

9. Privacy Personal data collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary for prize delivery.

10. Governing Law This Giveaway and these Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.
